Best Community Outreach Project Award

Adamus Resources won the Best Community Outreach Project Award at the Conservation and Reclamation Awards Ceremony which took place at the 2022 Ghana Mining Week. Adamus has received the award for its efforts in supporting mining communities.

Ms Angela List (CEO of Nguvu Mining Limited), Mr Patrick von Kpekpena (General Manager of Adamus), Mr Joseph Forbah (Processing Manager), Mr Kwodwo Darko Baah (SRD Manager), Mr Laurel Smith (Mining Engineer) and Mrs Yvonne Yesunu (Process Metallurgist) received the award on behalf of the company.

Ghana Mining Week 2022

The annual event aims to promote responsible mining, boost the interest of investors, and promote responsible mining.  During the Mining Policy Forum, key experts discuss, deliberate, and showcase the cases of success.

The theme for the 2022 Mining Week was “THE POTENTIAL OF MINING FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT”. Some key experts were present. Namely, Hon. Barbara Oteng Gyasi (Chairperson of the Minerals Commission), Dr Kwaku Afriyie (Minister of Environment Science Technology and Innovation), and Hon. George Mireku Duker (Dep. Minister of Lands and Natural Resources). Hon. Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah (Western Regional Minister), and Mr Martin Ayisi (CEO Minerals Commission) were also present.
