The CEO of Nguvu Mining Limited, Angela List, who also doubles as the 2nd Vice President of the Ghana Chamber of Mines, was a panel member of the plenary session on the topic “Security in the Sub-Region and its Impact on Investment in the Mining and Power Sectors.

As a key investor in the Mining industry, Ms. Angela shared her experience on the impact of insecurity on businesses, including the overall cost, the ability to attract and retain talents, occasional loss of employees due to rebel attacks, challenges in the movement of logistics and supplies and sometime the difficulty in accessing pits which sometime forces a fold up when the situation continues to deteriorate.
